Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. You have to cancel in the Google Play Store, or the payments carry on.
How to cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store
- Open the Google Play Store app on your phone.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to end.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the steps on screen to the end.
- Save the confirmation email, or take a screenshot.
