Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. You have to cancel in the App Store, or the payments carry on.
How to cancel a subscription in the App Store
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to end.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may have to scroll down to find it.
- Save the confirmation email, or take a screenshot.
