Organised to Navigate
The response is organised so the person can find their way through it, rather than presented as an undifferentiated bundle.
Intent
The same data can be usable or unusable depending on how it arrives. A person given one long undifferentiated file has to do the organising themselves.
How to test it
An assessor scores the criterion against a single response:
- Score 2
- The response is divided into named parts, in an order the person can follow, so they can find a particular kind of data.
- Score 1
- The response is divided into parts, but the parts are unnamed or in no discernible order.
- Score 0
- The response is one undifferentiated bundle with no structure the person can use.

This criterion reflects Article 12(1) of the UK GDPR. That mapping is a guide, not a legal test: conformance is judged against the criterion, not the article.
