What Each Part Is
The response identifies what each part of the copy is.
Intent
A bundle of files with system names tells the person nothing about what they are looking at. Saying what each part is turns it into something they can work through.
How to test it
An assessor scores the criterion against a single response:
- Score 2
- The response says what each part of the copy is.
- Score 1
- The response labels some parts of the copy and leaves others unexplained.
- Score 0
- The copy arrives with no explanation of what its parts are.
The law it reflects
This criterion reflects Article 12(1) of the UK GDPR. That mapping is a guide, not a legal test: conformance is judged against the criterion, not the article.
See F2 in context in the full standard.
